Okay, it is early morning and I have snuck out here to do a post and get everyone caught up on my news.
First, Kurt has been dragging me out to the weight room with him almost every day. He decided I needed to tone up his way, not mine. Sighs.....for a little while I ached all over, now I feel pretty good. We have also been doing some hiking and work around the house together.
I have also accepted a position as a paid moderator of my favorite Frugal Living Forum and have spent a bit of extra time there trying to learn how to use the controls. I have a pretty good idea now so I should be able to do things a bit quicker.
I was all set to post a couple of days ago, when a terrible lightening storm traveled through. Started to shut down the computer and heard a "pop". When I went to start up the computer after the storm I couldn't. I think it was the motherboard saying good-bye.
Now I will be on another enforced break, actually one that has been planned for months. We are heading out for our holiday to Nova Scotia. Hopefully I will have lots of pictures to post of our travels when we get home.
I am off to pay all of you a quick visit now.

Lightning storms and computers definitely don't go together. I'm sorry that yours got taken out. I've missed hearing from you.
Nova Scotia! What fun you are going to have, my friend. I always enjoy visiting the eastern provinces. They are so pretty and I do hope you get time to visit Cape Breton Island.
Yes, bring back lots of photos so we can enjoy your trips as well. Have a wonderful time. Go with God and be safe.

Sorry about your computer. I waited a little too long to shut mine down when there was a storm coming a couple of weeks ago and then it decided that it would take its own sweet time shutting down. I waited and waited and the storm was almost upon us before it finally turned off.
Your trip to Nova Scotia sounds great. I'm sure you're having a fantastic time.

I just got the circle journal, and popped by for the first time to see who I'm sending it to next! I've tucked away a few goodies to send it with, but it'll be a few more weeks yet- I'll have it for 2, and then it will spend another week or so making the trip from Australia to Canada... I wish I was coming too!!!
